Iris & Crystal Geometric Pattern Seed Bead Bracelet

Geometric boho cuff bracelet with hand woven Czech glass seed beads. This bracelet was made using the brick stitch technique (also known as the Comanche stitch) to create boxes of crystal Czech glass seed beads w/an electroplated green iris border. The centerpiece is a green glass Millefiori bead featuring a floral design surrounded by copper rondelles. The bracelet is then finished with an ornate gold plated brass box clasp. This bracelet will lay flat when unclasped.

✿ Created via brick stitch method w/reinforced stitches & thread sealant for long lasting strong weave - Several hour process. Unlike loom beadwork, the brick stitch method hides most of the threads so your main focus stays on the beadwork. Peyote beadwork is similar however it is not offset like brick stitch

✿ Size 10 tiny Czech glass seed beads in crystal & electroplated green iris (beads are no larger than 2.3mm) - High quality vivid colors, sourced from local supplier. Czech glass beads are similar to Miyuki Delica & Perler, however they have been in production longer & are known for their wide array of colors/styles & consistent quality - They come from a region formerly known as the "Kingdom of Bohemia", rich in glass bead & jewelry history!

✿ Beaded Cuff style bracelet w/boho geometric design - semi flexible / ridged due to weave style. Perfect for stacking with other bracelets if desired! Blue thread used gives the transparent crystal beads a blue depth

About the artist: Miss D. Learned traditional native beadwork from her mother who had Cherokee roots. After growing up weaving traditional patterns, Miss D. now designs her own patterns from scratch which includes graphing them out on paper designed for this specific type of beadwork. The practice is very dear to her heart. Miss D. now has over 40 years of experience creating jewelry with a specialty in tiny Czech glass seed beads!
